In germany the MS 462 was priced the same as the MS 461.

In Croatia the MS462CM is priced the same as the MS661CM.

I think You got the better deal.

I mean you have to go off WOT, after the saw came down from the period with the very high rpm.
So i think you made it wrong

worm saw for 1 minute, did that
shut saw off, did that
start saw in start position, let it run for 0 to 60 seconds, did that
depress throttle for at least 30 seconds, release throttle when engine speed drops, well engine speed dropped before 30 seconds were up. so do I keep holding the throttle down and wait for it to slow down again? or do I release the throttle before 30 seconds is up?

was looking for the owners manual. Couldn't find one in English. So I thought about checking Great Britain Stihl website. BINGO!

Looks like there will be a 462 Rescue saw!
