Depends, I believe Mahle is the main vendor but I have seen KS as well.

The 461 piston I got last year was KS, but the 460 one I purchased recently ($48) was not marked by a maker. Also, the KS said A/B, the new piston had no reference to size (A/B).

If I can still get pistons at the old price, I'm gonna pick up a few. Thanks for the "increase" warning, that is a big jump.
