There was nothing in that video that couldn't have been achieved better with regular wedges. But it at least demonstrates the felling cone in use. What I'd like to see is that cone or cones buried in a much larger tree, producing all the lift promised by the cone's large end diameter, and having been driven by the battery tool alone. I'd put it to use in some 3-4' and dense/heavy gums and video that if he'd send me one to test ;-)That was painful to watch
Both, if it's tight branching I climb it in. It's almost faster to climb them if the gear is already out.You just use a throw line or you climb?
Madsens has those yellow stackable wedges, they work goodGlad that you got somthin to work, I've been meaning to try the rifled wedges that are meant for stacking
The peoe at Madsens are very nice to work with. They try hard to get what you need. They've been in the saw business for a long time. They are very knowledgable in every area. They did build work saws in years past. They have lots of stuff for all of us. 800-822-2808. I've used them for quite a few years now. Good luck!Do tell more please. What the name and where can one be found?
Kinda sounds like someone had a bad day. They are very nice to work with, try them again. We've all had bad days. Give them another try,I think you will be happy.Cool. Thanks. I called a few weeks ago. They wouldn't even sell me a chain. Lol
I may be wrong, but I think only STIHL dealers can sell STIHL anything. STIHL protects their dealers very strongly.I will. They said they couldn't sell me a Stihl chain loop.
I'd like to see video of that in action...I really like them, I think because the are really hard for a wedge and the STIHL wedges are soft... They work good together.
Now if it's a real bad leaner I just use this thing to pull it backwards.View attachment 56430
Next time I use it... Soon!I'd like to see video of that in action...
