Max flow air filter, are they worth it?

any one have any videos of timed cuts of max flow vs say a HD2 ?

The time I save not cleaning that stock filter every tank, makes the Max Flo much faster in my opinion.

I prefer to run mine with the cover removed. The filters do seem to stay cleaner even longer at least for me. I'd put the cover on if I was cutting in the rain or snow.

Thats because those saws got masterminded you big ole' dummy...dey too fast.

Those hybrids are so fast with dual ports by the time the dust makes it to the air filter the day is already over.

Any difference between maxflo and uni-filters?? Same oiled foam, I use uni-filters on ms660 and don't see any fines getting thru. Clean about every 10-15 tanks. I also put an outer-wears cover on it in case if rain or snow.

I'm for anything other than the factory filter,nothing I've used keeps dust out like the max-flow.

To much gets around the factory one,not necessarily through it but around it.

Look closely at the plastic under the air filter and at the carb inlet, just under the sharpie numbers

Tennis racquet grip tape with plasti-dip painted over it. Great cushion, can get a little slick when wet, little pine tree blood then.

Dust always falls in when i pull the filter off ,it gets packed around the edge ,that's why i close the chokes now .
