It wasn't anyone's fault Gary. Just a saw that changed hands a lot without being run much. Looked pretty good.....started and ran ok......

I'm just glad I tore into it.

I'm surprised the slop in the case did not ruin the seal. Guess they are sometimes tougher than we think!

I just rebuilt a 372XT for my older co-worker last saturady. He used 372 and 371 since they are available, but he really don't like the X-Torque, and he want a 572 now.

And just because I have good carbide burrs and a good oem OE cylinder I just cleaned, I tried to port it. And believe it or not, but the saw is still running after a whole week (8 hours/day, 5 days).

I'm the first one to be surprised
