lewis winch

I have been wanting a Lewis winch for awhile now but have no knowledge of them. Does anybody here have any input or experience with them? Suggestions on power head? I havve ms461 064 and 2171 all full wrap handles. Also have a ms230 and shindawa 491 half wrap. I'm guessing a full wrap might not be compatable with the winch. I have been thinking about a 562 for firewood, would it be a suitable candidate?

I want one too, not sure what I'd use it for but there darn cool. Guys who have used them suggest a 90cc saw for quick strong usage and a different tow line to the one that comes with it. Captstan make a similar winch that is popular and worth checking out it uses nylon line I think instead of wire. There is another brand too but I forget who makes it. Baileys sells the lewis and occasionally has it on sale.

The Amsteel rope is stronger than wire, 1/4 the weight, and goes on the spool much easier.
