I have given thought to making a pair of end tables out of hollow logs.

Just some playing around with a Husqvarna 450 Rancher cutting noodles with a Trashed Rocked 18" Husqvarna bar a chain that I brought back,
Ground the chain to
45° 25° 10°, and rakers cut to about 30 thou.
A bit too aggressive for a 50cc in Hard Maple, Red Oak, Ash and Black Locust especially when the entire bar is buried in the wood but seems to be a decent grind.

Those are a whole lotta fun when they're 5-6 feet long with a notch or two at the bottom and a leaf blower to get 'em started... LOL
