I messed up my truck paint. Help needed

Sounds crude ,but spray some carb cleaner on a white towel ,then scrub the spots till gone ,then rewax ,a car lot guy showed me that trick ,he buys carb cleaner by the case just for cleaning the used cars ,try a spot not in plain site ,if clear coated this should not hurt the finish

Was told wd 40 would do tje same.as you described but would.only be temporary. Which is why car lots do that to make car look good for sale.

All viable fixes. I worked a used car lot too. ATF will bring back old laccuer (sp) clear or base coats.
