I love my 50cc saws.

50cc saws are my favorites! Nothing better to a firewood guy then a good 50cc saw, enough balls to pull thru but light enough to not make you feel it at the end of the day!

If you love your 50 cc saws, get a ms241 or Dolmar 421... you’ll marry them lol. The 50’s will become the new 70cc saws lol

I ran a ported MS241 awhile back. It was dynamite, and I'd have no problems with one. But my 50cc saws keep going after the 241 loses steam. Now, a ported 241, a ported 60cc saw (or MS462), and a ported 90cc saw would be my 3 saw plan, if starting over.

I'm partial to Stihl, with a few Dolmars in the bunch, but those 2 Huskys are 2 of the orange crowd I'd love to add to my stable. Damn good saws.

I like my modified 2253 but my Redmax 45oo sees a lot of use also. It is a fine little saw. After using .325 for years I now run 3/8 square filed and love it, mucho más mejor.

How do you guys have all of these clean saws? I take VERY good care of mine, but they don't ever look that good. Of course , Hedge fines can infiltrate some amazingly small places...

I luv my Rattlered 346OE. But I'll tellya, I just built a Jonsered 2055 on a 2054 case, that little thing screams and cuts like it means it. I'm starting to like it alot. Gotta try out the 254 though. Heard some good things about them.

You need to try a 2051

A nice 2053 stuffed full of bananas or Rattlered, or AWOLized wouldn't hurt my feelings. It could be the red-headed step brother to my MMWS 346... I WILL be sending my 550xp to either Alan or Kevin for a mechanical breathing treatment though, as I know that there's room on the table. My 562 will follow after that, as a ported 562 is almost as amazing as a ported 357xp...

I heard the 2051 was a little bit better. They are hard to come by. If I find one I'll buy it and compare. The cylinders are hard to come by I heard, just like the 2055.

I was going to say the same.

I love my 40 & 70 cc saws (241 and 462). I like my 50 (261)

Noticed mention of some red ones. My regular use 50’s, 520SP & 2051. They are happy with .325 or 3/8 chain.

I don't let him see the new ones I work on, don't want him getting all jealous on me, but they are pretty darn nice. Forget all about all the micro- measurements and not picking, great little saws.
