Ok so I added this video to the fist post as well.
Here is the 536LiXP side by side to the 421. Trying to give a good perspective of this saw. Keep in mind my 421 is muffler modded and a good runner.

Clearly different saws and different technologies. Aside from convenience features, I think that the battery saws in 36/40V range are best suited for wood up to about 6-8 inches - was surprised at how well that Husqvarna did in that log. Chain speed is also a factor, aside from power, in timed comparisons.

I'm in love with that 536LiXP! :icon12: It would be perfect to carry in the truck box but the saw with 2 batteries is rather expensive.

I think any speed differences would be negated by not having to start it if you're only doing a couple of cuts at a time.
