That’s a good read. The fact that the 357 runs so close to a saw that has a nearly 10% displacement advantage just confirms the badassness too me. Them 6100’s are nice running saws, finally got to run a stock one a few weeks ago.

I’ve heard the 6100 needs a lot of tanks through it to wake up. I only have 8-9 through mine but it does pretty well with a small mm. However, this 357 would take its lunch money. If it (357) was stock, I really think the 6100 would be better.

If it (357) was stock, I really think the 6100 would be better.
357 is pretty good stock, but the muffler is very restrictive. With just a simple muff mod and no porting they are a different animal. And with just a base gasket delete they will blow 190+ psi, for another level of badness.

6100 is kind of meh stock, but ported they rip
6100 needs many tanks of fuel ran threw it to wake up. A muffler mod does help, I tacked my current 6100 and a muffler mod gained 500rpm.

I was never able to run it stock and it had had a meteor top end
