I order it from eBay and amazon. It's clean burning like 800, lubes great, but no wet muffler like 800.

Think Ron660 did alil research and said they stopped using 710 . Probably using that new VP mix of their own if Id guess

My 044 ran on Stihl Dino and pump gas for 18 years and it is still here, but I guess some of that time gas had lead in it, which lubricates.

I dont see the problems with Stihl oils in larger cc saws like I do small trimmers, blowers, hedgers, saws, etc.

I also think keeping a sharp chain and clean filter make a world of difference. Often, failures occur when stuff is abused, not used.

Most problems I see with Stihl Ultra are in 4 mix engines and smaller cc handhelds

Yes sir. I believe you are correct. They used to use Motul 710, now I think they use their own proprietary oil. [emoji106]

They make the oil so it lubes OK for just over their 2 year warranty. Then would need dealer service. Lol

Example: This lawncare professional brings his FS56RC trimmer which he called a Stihl commercial trimmer in and said it was making noise but less than a year old. I listen to it and ask what oil and ratio he used in which he replied Stihl in the silver bottle and he thinks 50to1.

He has a commercial account with them. Whats the warranty? 60 days , 90 days? Another commercial account I have had the fs56 for 3 months and it dropped that same bearing
