Very sorry to hear that, but not terribly surprising. AR market is saturated right now and I'm surprised more makers don't bite the dust. Hunting rifles actually outsell anything tacticool around here. Bushmaster should have never been sold to Satan's Capital aka Cerberus. They did more damage to the industry than the gun haters ever could have.
I went to large retailer and there was literally hundreds of ARs they don't take AR trade in's anymore
And hundred's of polymer frame pistols from everybody
I still think the bottom is falling out of that market
Even premium brands are getting cheaper now.

I don't know why but I never had good accuracy from that bullet design
One the most accurate loads I for 9mm was actually a very old 148gr .38 special Lyman mold
I had a hi power practical and a cz 75 sa that would shoot 1/2- 3/4" 25yd groups with it
Off a bench rest of course.
I bought several thousand berry's 124gr jhps I'm working a load up for now.
Here's another target from last week it's 29 shots two handed this time .Screenshot_20230912_143511_Gallery.jpg
I'm lucky as this barrel likes the CNHC

Try 3.7 grains Titegroup with your Berry's slugs, shoots lights out in my Glocks. The Lee 356-120-TC is laser accurate in some guns, shoots like poo in others. My little fleet of S&W SD9's adore this bullet as does my Browning Hi-Power. My Glocks with OEM or aftermarket barrels are just so-so.

If the AR and pistol makers can hold on, there is an Armageddon level election next year where they will get hit by a tsunami of demand. I would bet the gun and ammo makers are already figuring this into their plans. Not trying to be political, just stating fact.

Smith has been the best customer service I've dealt with IMG_20230912_113640.jpg
I asked about a spare guide rod assembly for my m&p 3.6 2.0
They just asked for my address and sent it to me for free.
I had a smith 4506 and lost one of the rear sight springs
I called smith and the woman I talked to said I don't know what you need but I'll send you springs from every adjustable sight we have lol
It was a box of probably 100 little springs.
I sent a pistol in for warranty work for a friend
They sent me a free shipping label
0 charged for fixing it and shipping it back
He wasn't even the original owner.

Nice piece! Biggest thing that irritates me about Smiths is they don't give you the option of half length underlug.

Got the Axis .308 sighted in today, it wears a 2-7x32 Redfield with Leupold mounts. As usual I didn't make any nice groups but it placed the slugs on wherever the crosshairs were pointed so I guess that's what matters. I'm really liking 37 grains IMR 4895 under a 180 grain slug. Way easy to shoot and accurate as anything else I've ever tried. Looks like this rifle will be my go-to this November!

Was planning to take out the wood stock Axis also, but turns out that Savage started using 8-40 scope mount screws in 2020, meaning the set of Leupold mounts I already have won't work. Called Leupold and they are sending me the correct screws.

Tanfoglio stock I lower with stock master upper that I cut for the optic(deltapoint) I managed to get the trigger to break at 2lbs with original hammer and sear. I made the trigger. I guess its called a shoe, not a trigger. It's a nice shooting gun.Resized_20230929_173647.jpeg

A lot of people are hating on the 6.5 for some reason

I've never shot one.
