Looks really cool. Dr Al's MOFO treatment is top shelf !

He does build a mean saw. I haven't had the opportunity to run one, but from the videos I've been following, his saws are top notch.

Now I have to decide which 026/260 I'm gonna build when we make the deal work. I just acquired two 026 red levers from another OPE member.

On these I seem to have to replace fuel lines and flywheel side seal. I have had some success shimming the carb spring to reduce the off idle bog.

Glad your topend is good and it waa just a carb kit. The only AM topend ive held in my hands was a tecomic. It was very very nice. Sadly they are no longer making parts for saws. Most am kits are a moving target. Meteor may be the exception. But last i remember reading there was some issues

This is my personal oil. I keep it in a 70L SS tank. The valve at the bottom is slightly raised to help separate solids from the oil. The oil is cold pressed and not filtered.

My wife and I usually harvest from Nov - Jan every year.

This oil is from Koroneiki (Crown) Olives and is among some of the best in the world. These olives are very small and more difficult to harvest, as they don't usually fall easily from the trees.

I did a similar thing about 7 years ago with a 260C, I bought the top end off a member on AS shipped to my door for about 55 in your money. But that was 7 years ago. I have no idea how much they'd be now. The top end supplied was very good. But I moved the saw on, as I rarely felt the need to use it at work. I primarily use top handled saws & when the work was too much for them, I found myself reaching for my 7901. The increase in power between the top handle & the MS260C was minimal. I prune & remove trees at work, by blocking them down. The 260 would be more suited to someone who needs a firewood saw, or fells trees & needs a limbing saw.
