If it's a tan coil, I'd ditch it and go with a red one.

If you send me a prepaid label I will gladly ship it to you. I got 20+ saws and no need to dick with this one. But I gotta say it’s a hell of a strong saw with the port work and compression it’s got. When it runs it’s an animal!

Reach out to a Dolmar dealer and ask for some help. They must have run into this issue before.
Maybe see if you can try another coil to see if it corrects the issue before buying one...

I admit it’s worth fixing with how good it runs I just really don’t want to put any money into it.

Used coils are cheap.
If it were mine, I'd try a used coil to see if it takes care of the issue.
