So just got off the phone with makita and they said to correct the problem I have to change the flywheel and crankshaft? Umm no I’ll throw it in the trash. Anyone need a 510 for parts for free!
If you send me a prepaid label I will gladly ship it to you. I got 20+ saws and no need to dick with this one. But I gotta say it’s a hell of a strong saw with the port work and compression it’s got. When it runs it’s an animal!
Reach out to a Dolmar dealer and ask for some help. They must have run into this issue before.
Maybe see if you can try another coil to see if it corrects the issue before buying one...
