I have yet to "suffer" from CAD
This is going to be a standard Wagner thread with rediculously long spans of time between posts.
I started collecting for my small engine driven chain mill. I have to find some metal yet, but most of it is already laying around here in my mess. Here's the start...
It's not much, but I have a lot of the odds and ends gathered too. I have pullys and either an electric or centrifugal clutch to drive the chain. I'm going to use a jack shaft with a rim drive sprocket center on a turned shaft end to hold the drive rim. I plan to set it up much like a Norwood's mill with the motor riding on a track beside the log. It should be easy enough to make the depth adjustment work. I don't know the guy on YouTube that built one sort of like this, but his trial and error helped me come up with the plans in my mind... Lol
