I’ve used the echo as well, with no issues. Guess I never looked what it’s made of. I’m in need of some 6mm line so Echo won’t work, which is why we are hereI avoid yellow tygon at all costs at this point. I bought two rolls of Echo / Shindaiwa black line and use it on everything. I like it on certain impulse lines as well. It is superior to tygon in my opinion.
I didn’t stumble across this, it has been recommended by many on this site.

Throw out Tygon
Shindawa/Echo fuel line or the Oregon ethanol (looks like yellow Tygon but its WAY different) lines work great if you're not using OEM.

Gate's fuel line gas served me very well since the 80s on bike's and vehicles.
I don't recall replacing one i installed.
Sane with echo rubber line's i installed.
Many failures with tygon and products marketed as tygon

That set for awhile and the line deteriorated.
No expert but rubber stihl husky echo serves me well.
