I avoid yellow tygon at all costs at this point. I bought two rolls of Echo / Shindaiwa black line and use it on everything. I like it on certain impulse lines as well. It is superior to tygon in my opinion.

I didn’t stumble across this, it has been recommended by many on this site.

I’ve used the echo as well, with no issues. Guess I never looked what it’s made of. I’m in need of some 6mm line so Echo won’t work, which is why we are here

Another vote for tygon. It's held up well for me both with mix and straight gas. Being able to visually verify fuel in the line is a plus. Have not used the Echo/Shindaiwa black, so no opinion there. Don't like rubber. Have used silicone in other applications, but not fuel. PVC gets brittle quick IMO. Not sure about poly.

OEM black rubber works best, but most expensive.
Echo black rubber I’d guess would be second best.
Tygon yellow is a far third.

What I don’t like about the black stuff is it’s expensive. But it lasts forever if you don’t have ethanol in the fuel. If it ever does go, it becomes brittle and cracks.
What I don’t like about yellow Tygon is that ethanol slowly turns it into a sludge that can end up in the carb.

Me ?
Throw out Tygon

Shindawa/Echo fuel line or the Oregon ethanol (looks like yellow Tygon but its WAY different) lines work great if you're not using OEM.

I have the echo line too, which works well. The echo line holds up very well for impulse line too, not just fuel line. Don’t try that with tygon yellow type line lol. You guys need to try the stihl R3 or R5 I believe it is called(have a loop of it). It seems to not kink as easily as echo line and you can get it in bulk like echo line.

Gate's fuel line gas served me very well since the 80s on bike's and vehicles.
I don't recall replacing one i installed.
Sane with echo rubber line's i installed.
Many failures with tygon and products marketed as tygon
Sold by dealer's here.
Actually plumbed a 288 project never fueled
That set for awhile and the line deteriorated.
No expert but rubber stihl husky echo serves me well.

I've never used anything that works as well as OEM lines if you can even find them .I do have some special line left over that is used on oxegon equipment from my deceased wife's stuff she was on .It might work ,green in color .I have boxes full of tubing used in the automotive industry for many instrumentation applications .Some works better than others .I think they all degrade after a while .

1+ on the gates. What we have found on the larger lines. Mostly on the sleds and quads is that moisture is a big killer of the lines. Arctic cat and polaris have their own formula for their lines. If you can get it you won't have any issues. But all the am stuff is a crap shoot. I used to use brp and yamaha fuel line whenever I could. But now that the epa has mandated the low perm it isn't as reliable as it was. And at $8-10 a foot it adds up fast buying a 50ft roll.

What Dave said^ for the most part.

Myself, I like nitrile blue/green line. Last forever on Makita. I'm really surprised that you guys did not mentioned it. Can not buy it in rolls :( Not sure it would bend well. Most of it is segmented looking, bumpy or factory OE bent.

I'd use Silverado 1000 or 2000 but it usually does not fit ope. That is top quality boat fuel line.

Why any OPE maufacturer makes or condones any fuel lines that aren't 100% ethanol fuel friendly with the fuel most all of is use is beyond me...
The green fuel line like the Stihl 440 inside tank line comes to mind.
We send guys to the moon. We should have a fuel line that lasts 10 year minimum.
