LOL. Two pages and not a single vote for 390. You guys think I can get the same RPM out of a 395? I was thinking 20-24” bar.

I did some looking, alot of guys have done it. I'm thinking strapping on a really small turbo now

I wana try it on a china 660 kit. But i'm thinking turbo would be more exciting. I guess the only practical way to do that would be on a 500i though since she's injected and all.

Depending on the max flow rate of that injector it would likely be the best candidate for Nitrous...however, im sure jugs n slugs aint cheap

Exactly. As an automotive performance guy, I get where you're coming from. I was horny for efi and efi tuning when it was just coming into popularity, variable geometry turbos etc.

Having run ported 395, 880, 084, 1200 and others i must say the one gained the most and fun was 395 for its size.

Ported 1200 is still in development stage, testing out few recipes before going for the kill. It has the beefiest bottom end by far, so i know once i get the recipe right I'll milk it to the max without worrying if it'll hold up. It needs bigger carb to squeeze everything out, but I'll do a stock carb ported comparison first

I was told there isn't much to be gained from a turbo on a 2 stroke engine. I have no real experience w/ turbos other then driving some cars w/ them.
