Anyone directly compared the new 462 to the new 572 yet?

I haven't read all of this thread. I own a ported 461 and that will be my 70 cc. saw for the rest of my life. However, I bumped upon these videos of the new Stihl MS462 and Husq 572. Not a lot of info, but it does give you some video of both of them "in action."

Aha. As long as the case widths are the same we can put a 572 crankshaft in a 372. You need 6003 bearings, you need to buy really nice ones to match the standard dynamics load rating of a standard 6202 though. Also need a 1mm shim behind each bearing since they're 10mm wide instead of 11mm. But it should work.

If I believed in conspiracy theories I was have to believe that they dumped all the 441 and 461’s on North America so they can hold out on the 462 longer.

I believe this. I’ve seen 441’s and 461’s in places the never had them before and at the same time.
