This weeks project, had a 1981 Gibson L6-S come in for some electronic repair. If you are familiar with these guitars they had Bill Lawrence pickups and a funky rotary selector switch. They were most geared towards the Jazz players. Well this one was a cool Silverburst that has aged nicely and has a great feeling neck. So we decided to add a set of hot humbuckers and a toggle in place of the rotary. Now its a rock n roll machine !

30 year guitar and drummer here. Tube amp tweaker as well. Don’t build em just modify them. El34s are my jam! Metal head/shredder/vocals too!
