I built 5 saws with 268 and 272 open windowed pistons
Not the strongest running saws i have but by far the easiest starting
They are like pulling on a 40/50cc saw and run fine
Compression in the 170s
It must be the mass of the lighter weight pistons.
I wonder who makes closed port 266/268 pistons anymore
I'll build another one.
Hutzl and Meteor have them.

That's the farmertec pistons i used in my saws
I'd like to find a full circle 266/268 piston that's lighter than a 372 piston.

I have a windowed one but I don't think it's lighter than the 372 piston. I'll weigh it if you want.

I had one of those and it cut pretty good, I gave it to my brother in law a couple of years ago.

The $200 Farmmac arrived today but the bar and chain didn't. I think I'll swap out the tank and top cover for black ones and paint the clutch cover white. I noticed that they had the saw alone for $250 and the saw + bar and chain for $200 when I bought it but now they have changed it around, someone must have screwed up on the listing.

This actually a real deal if description is from product they are selling. Normally first picture shows customer what he is going to get if he buys the item.
Customer service tried to tell be that it will be only torque sensor and sensor wiring. BUT at the same time their add is like in attached pic.
I warned the guy that you will get a lot of disputes if you ship anything less than items in that pic.

Yep, I’ve been keeping these a secret from here because I don’t want to come off like I’m advertising but I do have some of these and they do seem worthy. I love the dual bar studs. The muffler is bigger, especially at the port. The passage is probably 60% bigger at the exhaust port. The starter is a spring loaded EZ pull but the sprung slack is not ridiculously long. Maybe 2”. From 5’ away these look like they would be nearly identical to the Echo but there are subtle differences. The clutch and muffler covers will not interchange. Nor will the starter. The clutch is the same though and I have some 1/4” and some 3/8”. I was trying to talk huskihl to port one of them a few months ago but I think he’s been busy. These run pretty good but no comparison to the real 2511T he did for my wife last year.

I think i ended up buying 5 of these zenoah clones they were 70.00 shipped and every time i'd buy one my friends would buy it from me

This one i bought a couple of year's ago i loaned it to my brother and his 4 kid's
They ran it with the clutch on
And burned the cover
But it and all the rest of them still run perfectly
I tore the top av mount and just put a decking screw through it.
Good running little saws as strong as any brand I've run before.

I sent my friend that link when they were 199.00 and he bought a few IMG_20240326_152243.jpg
He gave me one for fixing his saws for him.
I haven't run it yet but i like the tools and spike kit it comes with
Otherwise it's virtually identical to the holzfforma 365/372
Even the sharp case halve seam behind the trigger i had to sand it down exactly like the holzfforma's
And the advertisement lied it had the same squarish handle as everything else china saw.IMG_20240326_021414.jpg

I wanted to make sure they were 2511 sized
Are they comparable to oem power wise?
I think it’s real close to OEM power but it’s been a few years since our Echos were stock. I had my saw done by west coast muscle saw and my wife’s was done by huskihl. I’m selling the KNK for $220 including bar and chain. I had them flown over when I got them so my cost is higher.

G5800 was surprisingly good. Tested it properly for the first time.
Checked everything. Workmanship has been good and could not find anything to complain about except that unfinished piston top. They compensated it by saving discount coupon to my account.

So I Iinstalled 325-8T sprocket, 18" bar and new x-cut chain. Got about 9500rpm when splitting birch bar buried 15" in wood. This is without base gasket squish being somewhere 1-1.2mm. Had to measure twice since seemed so big.
I did also grind those 3 pcs 30mm long and 5mm wide "scoops" to muffler. It is loud but not too loud.
Engine starts with first or second pull - cold or hot.
Carb setting was done pretty much according to instruction manual. That manual is good. Does have pictures and enough safety related instructions.
Generally well worth 30$ and 115$ freight.
