I am working on a 2015 manufacture date 576 xp total top end failure. Appears the top ring locating pin came loose, moved around and resulted in broken ring and all sorts of damage to the cylinder (its WRECKED)
Got a couple used cylinders (thanks @Onan18 ) to try to bring this back to life on the cheap. Ordered an aftermarket piston (Golf) which I’m not real happy with. Was looking at cylinders for Cyber Monday deals and came across 3 different part numbers for the 576xp cyl:
575257406
575257404
575257402
So i went out in the garage to check out the cylinders I have on hand. I have 2 different numbers on the cylinders but can’t find ANY apparent differences in them.
Cylinder that came off the 2015 saw:
Does anyone have any intel on the 3 part numbers? Is one more desirable than the others?
