Yes, but it’s somewhere in between.larger bore increases case volume
Because, as Deets says, AM sucks. So why then does a big bore on a 660 not work as well as one would expect. There must be some other voodoo magic going on inside a hybrid .
Those things are a problem because the piston was cut shorter to clear the case instead of letting builders have the option to clearance the case to make room for the piston. There's a good 1/8 inch exhaust freeport under the piston at tdc.So why then does a big bore on a 660 not work as well as one would expect. There must be some other voodoo magic going on inside a hybrid .
Any updates?
Its still baffles me on how you are able to keep the jug centered when elongating the cylinder base holes, and how do you cut those holes? Have a 044 12mm bottom end and 046 d chamber jug at work i want to tinker with.
So were im confused is i thought the flywheel side crankshaft taper on all 044 saws was the same. All 3 have 1128 numbers, so do i have an aluminum 046 flywheel that was never made?
So yer saying someone wanted to run a heavy flywheel on a 046?sounds like an altered flywheel to me

I'm trying to keep track … is this the saw that was run in the 462 video???
