I have the Milwaukee string trimmer and have done my yard 3 times and still have half the battery left. Hardly uses any of the string and my landscape is not string friendly. Still waiting on the free hedge trimmer I chose for buying the string trimmer during the special

With my battery powered OPE tools, the leaf blower uses the most battery life, and the hedge trimmer uses the least. Chainsaw, pole saw, and string trimmers fall in the middle.

I have been testing a couple of lawn mowers that use the same batteries, and amazed at how much I can get cut with one charge.

*** Fair disclosure: both mowers were provided for evaluation by the manufacturers ***

I have been using the Oregon 40V LM300:
16" cutting path
rear bagging
http://oregoncordless.com/product/lawnmower-lm300/

And the Redback 120V:
21 inch cutting path
rear bag/side discharge/mulch
https://redbackpowerusa.com/product/redback-120v-lithium-ion-lawn-mower-kit-21-inch-push-mower/

Each mower is compatible with the batteries I have for their other O*P*E tools (chainsaws, etc.). Both are push models. Both cut very well. Surprisingly well. They are light, quiet, easy to push.

I live on a 7,500 square foot city lot (maybe 5,000 square foot lawn), and am able to cut the entire lawn on a fully charged battery, unless I have let it go too long. The batteries interchange with the string trimmer, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, etc., so it is good to have a couple to swap out when 'doing the lawn'.

The oregon mower I have is smaller, but they do make a larger model, if you wanted a more direct comparison: http://oregoncordless.com/product/lawn-mower-lm400/

And they just keep getting better! Would like to try one of the snow blowers too!
