I am trying to make some chains for a couple of my odd old small saws. However, I haven't had any luck finding repair links to reloop a couple of my chains. I have been toying with converting over to 3/8LP for this reason. Can anyone help me out and direct me to any possibilities?
Thanks,
Mike

What brand of chain?

STIHL presets usually can be ordered from STIHL dealers.

Oregon and Carlton presets available from a number of online chain sellers.

I have a mix, but most is Oregon or Carlton. Don't believe I have any stihl left anymore. One I am unsure on, it came off my mini mac 6.
Thanks,
Mike

Bailey's also sells pre-sets and tie straps individually. Have to root around their site a bit to find them. Shipping will kill you if that is all that you are ordering, but sometimes, if you call them, they will put small things in an envelope for less.

Again, best to add on to an existing order to save shipping costs!

eBay can be tricky: do you trust the seller? Genuine OEM or aftermarket?

I should have them in my chain box of goodies. @msellers
Good pics will help. Broke chain will be better to measure if possible on your end. I have several types in there.

Will break out the calipers and chain guage once I get the munchkin down for a nao, otherwise he is to much help with these.
