Yeah mate, I'll richen it up for now. How do you advance the timing? Do you need the 460 coil? When you put the dp cover on the 461, make sure you remove the carb limiters and make it richer, or you may burn it up. It will also likely appreciate a little timing advance.
Cheers mate, I might try that. Is there any risk of bending the crank?Put some blocks of wood in the crank case to stop the crank from turning to remove the nut. DO NOT put a screwdriver through the piston pin hole and rest the screwdriver on the case. I did that one on a junk crankcase and snapped the rod.

I'll look into it, might be a project for another day!No
460 & 044 coils are essentially the same.
You need to file the flywheel key a few thousandths. (Approx remove 0.020”).
There is a video that Mastermind did I believe that shows how to do this. If not a video, there is definitely some good pics.
Just pick the loose paint off and run some 220 grit around in there.Girlfriend is at work work for the day so I snuck the crankcase in the oven. Came apart without a hassle

The flywheel side bearing stayed on the crank when it came out, not sure how to get it off also I noticed the paints coming off inside the crankcase, anything wrong with just stripping all the paint out? All my parts have arrived though so once everything's cleaned up it'll be going back together finally

NopeCheers will have to get myself a puller. What's the go with putting antiseize on bolts when I put it all back together? Worth it or not? Not keen on stripping any more torx heads in the future lol.
Really appreciate the help from this forum, you guys are legends.
+1Nope
Don’t do it
