That's funny, sounds like you can take the rakers down a bit lol.
We came up with our own theory over here NE IL. U file the rakers down to a specific ratio according to the decibel output of the muffler... what is secret is that ratio....what i can tell u is there is not much tie strap left on that chain. This theory is still a work in progress:D

Works now go figure!
Sounds great. Strong!
At the end you held the d handle before you shut it off. What is the reason for that?

To keep the pawls from catching and breaking the recoil.

Only gotta do that of a few saws. Depends on the pawl design.

Nothing earth shattering.....3120XP

42" .404 first cuts. Tuned to 12,800 and holding 10,500 - 11,000 in the cut.

Shakedown runs really at this point. Wanted to get it good and warm to see if it held the tune.

Nice work Randy! I really need to own one of these. Been on my bucket list for far too long now.

The weather broke enough that I got to test a new chain Dallas sent me, it has modified rakers and a clipped tail as well as square filing, it throws all the chips the right direction :)
I tested with 7 8 and 9 pin rims on my @Redfin MS661 and I modified a Cannon 20" belly bar to run the 9 pin rim
