I heard what your taking about, at the end of the 2nd cut. Couldn't tell ya what rpm it was at that point in time. The day before at the Michigan gtg i had it fairly fat at 14.1-14.2 and never touched the carb.

All I can think is the phone made it sound a bit lean?? Next time I run it I'll put a tach on it and see where it's at.

I know when Jason had it he was having it 4 stroke at 15k

Tune is somthing you really need to keep an eye on when you have a saw of that caliber. Few of my local buddy's want me to build em some sort of race saw but can't tune their saw from summer to winter and leave the gas in it for 6 to 8 months at a time.

I usually just tach a saw when temp swings are drastic. I will be sure to check tune daily,

I beveled the base plate and spacer so they have a nice taper for the round shape to match up with.
My next step for this build is to fit a larger carb and boot up to it. It is currently running a stock WJ39 carb.
