ATOP is a jig for square filings. I'm not particularly fond of it. (Edit: let me rephrase this part) I've only ran this on Oregon Square grind. Maybe it I find a taller toothed 3/8 I would get better performance.Wotsa Atop, and stone the sides..
I know it's not a hair cut....
I like the winter filter instead, fits under the stock AF cover, and very easy to clean (with a brush).
I figured after I bought it the foam was pretty cheap. I found some for $15 a piece. and get some fuel resistant 3d printing material to make the inside pieces. And they cost less!
Not good for dusty conditions though. I do save the one I have for gtg’s though .I like the winter filter instead, fits under the stock AF cover, and very easy to clean (with a brush).
Yep I also only run mine in the winter and summer comes around like right now all my Saw's get the plain old restricted filters. Not good for dusty conditions though. I do save the one I have for gtg’s though .
Your gunna enjoy making the linkage.I figured after I bought it the foam was pretty cheap. I found some for $15 a piece. and get some fuel resistant 3d printing material to make the inside pieces.
Edit: So after doing some research I think im going to get a 084 carb and boot and 3D print a new back plate. so I can retain the Max flow.

I found this one and one that was an actual build post. But I can't find the second one now.Is there a thread on doing the carb set up I've heard of guys doing it but never seen it done or really thought of doing it myself but does sound interesting.
That's a hole lot of carb right there for a 064 lol.I found this one and one that was an actual build post. But I can't find the second one now.

084 linkage is a 2 piece. None of it works for an 1122. Get some stainless tig wire and start bending, grinding, and cussing. How close is the 084 linkage? I saw some 064s with the 084 carb and it seemed pretty straight forward.

well good thing i have 10 lbs of stainless filler lol.084 linkage is a 2 piece. None of it works for an 1122. Get some stainless tig wire and start bending, grinding, and cussing.
Heavy on the cussing
I wanted to use 3/32 for rigidity but I couldn’t quite get it right. 1/16 was much easier
