Blues played really well tonite. They had no choice. Playing away. Do or die. They stepped up and earned it. I give them credit.

He used to play for Providence Bruins. I saw him a few times.

Good for them. I thought they lost the momentum going g back to Boston with Boston's play off experience.

I though it was going g to be another repeat of 2011 as they won game 6 in Boston and 7 in Vancouver.

The Canucks lost in 82, to lslanders.
Lost a game 7 by 0ne goal in '94 and
Game 7 to Boston in 2011.

Philadelphia Flyers have gone to the Finals 5 times since they have won a cup and lost all 5 times.

Hardest thing to win in Sports is The Stanley Cup.

NHL's longest drought comes to an end for one team. Part of the 1967 expansion and Toronto were the Champs at the time and have not won since.

Just talking to me Dad on Vancouver Island before the game. We were pulling for them but We weren't so sure going back into Boston. Yes, they came in the League the year I was born. I guess they got to the Finals in their first three years but explanation teams played off against each other at the time and were met by much stronger teams in the Finals. So history has it.

That's awesome.

He was rubbing it in Ryan Kessler's face the next season on the ice about edging out Vancouver in game 7 and also Canada won the 2010 Olympic Gold against the states so Kessler takes 2nd place twice in 8 months.

They ended up in a fight.

Kessler is a classy guy. In an interview after the game and said.

"You learn how to win with class and you learn how to lose with class"

Them he pretty much said Marchant is nothing but a magot. ..lol candy coated of course.

Not a big surprise to hear that he cried since he can't even win with class.

That is a nice touch. The icing on the cake

Since every team I was rooting for was looseing I said and kept saying go Boston. Haven't liked that team since they won the cup a few years ago with the Goalie from my wifes home town Davison Mi. That guy was a arrogant prick and made me dis like the whole team since no one slapped the chit out of him to straighten him up.

So the Blues won love it, last place to the winners of Lord Stanlys cup. Great rookie goalie.

Red Wings should look for one and trade off Howard.

I should mention as a town I love Boston and 99% of the people. When I was hauling produce in there they always treated me great. Tell me if you want to get some sleep park over there and I will wake you when I leave at 7 AM.
Or as I am unloading they would say we are going to order up some food, you want in on it.

Solid game by the Blues, tough loss for the Bruins but somebody had to lose...fell asleep after the second period but I knew that 2-0 lead would be damn difficult to overcome. That Binnington is something else to be as young as he is...worth his weight in gold!

We can only imagine what they go through just to get to the big league.
Or even get a chance to play as a kid.
It starts with parents that have the money or get the money to pay the fees & outfit them and getting them to practice at 5:30am in the mornings. I never got that chance but I still got to play ball hockey & floor hockey league every chance we got at school and after school. I got to play Soccer & softball league. My Dad was always suggestive if I was board and in his hair, like say "Can't you just go up and play on the HWY for a few hours"...lol

Much respect to all the players and family's and their hard journey.
When Boston won in 2011, even know it went to game 7, They earned it. They Battled back after losing the first two games and scored almost three times as many goals in the series. Milan Lucic was born in Van. So home town boy gets a cup. How else can you honestly look at it.
Um... Thrash your own city again? Apparently for some.

The kid is pretty impressive, especially for a rookie.
If it wasn't for him, the Blues would have been watching the playoffs on TV with the rest of us.
No matter how good a team you have, without a good goal keeper, it's tough to be successful.
Berube did a great job of pulling the team together and keeping them focused.

It's really unfortunate that the Bruin fans were so classless after the game. During the Smythe trophy and cup presentation, Boston fans giving the thumbs down and flipping the bird to the Blues players really makes Boston fans look like a bunch of Aholes. Not that it diminishes what happened. Just makes it better to steal their lollipop and watch them whine, cry and throw a tantrum.
The Bruins are a good team, their fans, not so much.
