Unfortunately for me I'm guessing I'm the oldest guy on this thread and maybe all the others. I doubt any of you remember this series but I watched it. It aired in the US, Canada, Britain and Australia.
It's never came back in reruns so I'm guessing it didn't age well.

been looking at some of the Indian trains and some of the gradients
Watching these magnificent beasts in action had me thinking. So maybe to get more of these things back in action why not pack the tenders with electric motors then just have a big enough boiler to blow the whistle. I think it would be a very cost effective way of doing things. Kind of get your cake and eat it too thing.
