Had 97k on it. Tore it down to get pictures to turn in for warranty. Warranty was denied because of snow plow mount on truck.

That right there is the biggest chickenshit denial of a claim ever.
If that was the case, 80% of the trucks I work on under warranty would be denied.
I do know that Ford wants photos, documentation, and requires their techs to contact the mothership on most any warranty stuff.
Im glad I dont have to sift through that pile off bullchit. I just need to verify factory programming and Im good to go. (GM) dealer. They allow us to make most calls at the dealer level on stuff.

I think it's the dealer. Another guy goes to another Ford dealer, no issues and his truck is deleted and then some.

As it sets in the picture 12 MPG is what she was getting loaded.
About 18 empty.

I have hand calc’d It a couple of times. It is surprisingly accurate. Did a 450 mile trip and the miles registered 443 IIRC and it used pretty much the exact amount of fuel it said. I think I could coax a couple of more MPG out of it if I drove really slow, but I just drive regular and that’s what I get. BTW, it is leveled with 35’s, and I trimmed the air dam on the bottom of the bumper.

The Code is P-269f (I think), something to do with a turbo over boost... supposedly only a problem on the early 2015 trucks with the first of the large single turbos (440 HP trucks). Mine is a 2016.

Only has 28,500 miles. Any work that gets done will be under warranty. I wish they would just replace the turbo since this is the third time I’m bringing it to them for this problem... last time they insisted that it was fixed.

I bought the truck used from a small dealer, and they are willing to loan me a truck while it’s getting worked on by Ford. So that’s helpful.

Mine had emissions issues when I first got it thankfully it was under warranty. Then right after I had further issues with the DEF system and deleted it they issued a full recall...go figure.

Hopefully this time you can really push the issue for a full replacement of the turbo and a PCM update so the gauges and sensors reading the output can be updated correctly.
