Usually I dont mess wiff limbs for firewood. Less than 8" dia. I leave em lay usually.

Yup. 572G's arrived this morning. Regular 572's shipping out today on New Penn. Hopefully they'll be here tomorrow afternoon cause NP is pretty good. Won't know for sure until I see "out for delivery" in the morning. NEMF would have been middle of next week. Land Air would maybe have had them here by the 4th of July. I'm sure you have your good and bad carriers, so you know what I'm talking about. Usually it's more of a terminal issue, but Land Air is just plain bad everywhere.

I don't go down to quite that small but I'll take it down to 3-4" inches. No splitting to do then!

Have a couple of the outside spikes in stock, and just sent one out on a 572G with 24" on it. Guess you could go either way with a 20" but on a 24" it really doesn't look right without one.

Same here. I'll always keep 3" and up. I'll cut down to 2" if I'm on my own property. Branches make good kindling, which I go through a lot of. Like Mike says, less waste and less mess.

But nothing less than 8" like Dan leaves behind? For me, all those 3"-7" rounds are the cream of the crop. N0 splitting, long burns. What you're burning it in is a factor too. That small stuff might not be worth the effort for guys with OWB's.

Yeah, the closer I am to the woodpile the smaller I'll cut... Or is it the further I am from the woods or burn pile? Guess it's both reasons.

Are they selling with the C85 chain, or can you buy C85 separately now? And is there only .058 in the new chain? Perhaps .050 will be C83 for 1.3mm?

What about those new bars that are in all the promotional photography (forget the name, with the orange box that's reminiscent of the techlites), do those exist over here?

I don’t agree. Specially as we are asking a Dealer directly and someone who is actively sharing price differences.

Bob or anyone else doesn’t need to answer the question and that’s cool, but asking is far from “not cool”

Is their some date set until prices of the 572 can discussed that we are not aware of? Serious question, I’m not being a smarta**, is this a “not until release date type thing” ?

Yes you can buy outside the US. Within the US you can purchase Husqvarna product line also just not the 572.....yet.
