I heard from a very reliable source that this saw would oil a 31" bar just fine, but the 32" bar was just plain too much. LMFAO

Same source actually said 32inch ok but 33problem!!! Lol

That’s why my madness decided 36inches

Definite possibility down the road but as it stands now I have significantly less money in all three of my powerheads combined than a new 462 would set me back.

They fragmented and separated from the core, it just didn’t hold together like they were designed too.

Someone Must of purchased a a bad batch.

I’ve recovered quite a few just by shear luck, & they were still together.

Many others have done the same.

I was in Athens a couple months ago and drove by a couple Stihl dealers. I wanted to stop in and buy a 462 pretty bad and put it in my checked baggage. The wife shook her head and laughed for wanting to go saw shopping on our honeymoon lol.

It’s light and powerful. Lol. It feels like it’s going to be tough to beat for the guys packing a saw and heading to the woods. It handles a 28 well.

It does look pretty darn sexy sporting a 28" too.

Nice filter, that will let her breathe nice. Yep great for the cold snowy winter but work good in summer too.
I wonder if these are the white filters that came into Canada on the 462.

Probably could use it... but I guess in dry conditions it would let the fines trough the mess

Trick is just don't leave them dirty too long and the fines won't work through the mesh.
