A long term project I've been working on. A good friend graciously offered to repowder the cases at a rate I couldn't turn down so I took him up on it. Life happens and thus this project has taken somewhere around 18 months to finish.

It's not a build thread...just pics I took along the way. OEM jug and slug, new HD -50-A from Dave, and generally pretty OEM saw. AM rubber kit and a Viton intake from HL. Have made one quick cut but it seems to do well.

Nice job. Did you repaint the cases? That thing looks fresh!
They were blasted and powdered by a friend. Its the second time I have rebuilt this saw. Tree services are tough on stuff....its mine now.....well for a little while at least. Anyone interested?

No clue... it was some Ebay powder. A buddy plays around with powdering and offered. Sent me a link and I bought the powder. The cases have been sitting in my garage ready to assemble for over a year.... I got tired of kicking the "1128 kit box" and slapped it together finally.

Sorry... too many projects and beer since then and never asked questions..just said thanks. He does not do powder for hire and has asked me not to share his contact info. Fun past time can loose fun in a hurry.

Not only is it not gutted...it still has a spark screen in it. That muffler is 50 state legal...well at least 47.5 state legal.

It's in my truck and I had aspirations of going to the sawmill today to run it some. Alas another project came up and a TroyBilt Horse tiller called my name at lunch time. Will be Wednesday at the earliest at this point. At that point it will be phone video sitting on a log...nothing fancy.
