got a roll of Stihl RSK to try once this chain is cooked.

DON'T DO IT! Once you go to a ported saw, it is all down hill from there. Then you have to have another one, then another, then you don't want to run a stock saw. I don't have a Tree Monkey saw yet, but I do have a ported saw and some more in the works. Welcome to OPE!
