You may have been better off selling the 362 to your friend and giving the 6100 to your son. But then again, the 362 is awesome.
I sold the 6100 after mid day, then realized Saturday was coming and our plans
had just gone out the window with the sale of the 6100, so priced around and
ended up with the 362. If son does not come down from school as planned,
ya never know what he will find when he gets here.
Difficult trying to please everyone, young ones are into brands,
I would bet if the 362 was half as heavy again he would not mention it because it
is a brand that is well known here.
I used to tell him, you cant beet a makita, and he used to look sideways at me and smile.
At the end of the day, life goes on regardless of what we own or use.

Very true. We're all just funnin ya. It's all good.
A good saw is one that cuts wood. Beats using an ax or hand saw for sure.
Oh man, I used to sneak off to the wood with a bow saw when I was young,
cut for a day, nice and quiet, no one knew I was there, next thing, like a ghost,
my grandfathe would be standing behind me, "I will take out my car and you can put my half
in the shed for me", what a deflator after sweating like a pig with a hand saw,
only to loose half my stash.

These make it better.

Nice. I likey. [emoji106]

I could kinda give or take the outerwear for the bigger HD2..i use them because it helps keep the fines out..sometimes...those air filters are a joke.

But these outerwears for the smaller HD2 on the 261 etc are the shizz..i murdered a pile of firewood logs sat-tues this week with quite a few fill ups on my 261 and the filter stayed spotless..i love em'.

Prior to those outerwears I was running a 271/91-391/11 air filter on my 241/261/362 because they have a flat filter area with no pleates for *s-word to get stuck in.

Hi, where can one get that filter cover, and are those spikes much bigger than
the ones that come on the 362.

Those dawgs are for a 261/362....same size as the older OEM set for the most part.

Yes they fit a 260 and 361 too, these New ones have the same mounting set up as the prior style.

Outerwear site not showing anything for newer round filters. You got a size?

Have those dogs on my 361. I really like them.
