It is pretty fun. Picked up my first rc a month or so ago...new 4x4 slash, and just got a nice e revo on Monday.
I had a vxl 4x4 slash. It was a cool truck but i tried a nitro and the electric just seemed so boring after nitro. I traded it for my second tmaxx.

So far I've successfully fought the thought of going outside and get some work done - and half the day has passed!

Nothing I need to get done is enjoyable to me.
Nothing involves chainsaws.
I have to mow the lawn, stack firewood, wash and polish my car - sooooo boooring. :(

I almost never wash the cars, never ever wax them, and most of the grass mowing is done by Groundi. I do need to fix a mower, split and stack wood, assess a dishwasher to see whether it gets repaired or scrapped, assemble my recently discovered long lost MS660 and do some carb work on my 046. Then I need to do some painting on a different house, do some sheetrock work on the inside of that same house and so forth.
So, what I'm actually doing is sitting here trying to build up enough energy to get myself a cup of coffee in the kitchen. Then I'll worry about the list...

Drove my mom to a town over, a one hour round trip, so she can buy a train ticket to my sister in Switzerland.
The same ticket could not be purchased in my towns train station.

After getting back home had lunch that I cooked before leaving, had a nice dark beer and fell asleep relaxing in my TV chair.
Woke up and the day had almost passed.

Basically my Saturday passed by like a Sunday.

With the right brushless system youl turn away from nitro
I think i might lol. Dam tranny just locked up on me. I put the servo in for reverse and was testing it out. Not sure if the shift fork buggered up will have to pull apart and see.

I tried my slash with a 3s lipo and high speed gear and i could catch up to cars on the highway. Was crazy fast but too quiet after nitro.

So I finally got some coffee in me and got out of my chair. I worked on a dishwasher intermittently for a good part of the day. Got it powered up after shorting part of the circuit board and ran it through a few cycles (in the garage). I also disassembled an ill fridge and ordered a new evaporator fan motor for it. Then I went to work on the three wheeler and got that squared away. (had to test it of course...) I then loaded up the car for a brief tree job after church and was reminded that Groundi's MS180 was messed up. I disassembled the carb and cleaned it, checked the muffler screen and pressure tested the carb. It's running well now. Not sure what was wrong with it (starving for fuel it seems). So now I'm back in my chair with a cup of coffee and watching NASCAR.

Yeah I'm contiplating on selling my rc rock crawlers off or trading them for more rc aircraft love the rock crawlers but like most rc with wheels they always need lots of work and too broke to toss money for parts every 2 times I run em

It does always seem like somethings braking on them but they sure are a lot of fun. This little tranny issue was my falt. I pulled it apart and the one reverse gear had a broken tooth that was binding it. I just hooked up the reverse and was bot coming out of rev. So i tightened the ajustment screw for the dog on the gear and had it too tight and was engaging reverse too hard. I broke off the bad gear tooth and good to go. I adjusted the gear and will try it till dialed in then get a new gear for it.

The following pics are of a tree I felled opposite the lean. It was hanging over a pool/fence. Was leaning well to the left and hung. Chopped it off at the knees a few times and put it on the ground going to the right.

Do you upgrade them to the MS390 or put them back to OEM size?
I always use the 49mm cylinder kits on them if I have to open them.
