Was invited to another suckling pig feast today.
I worked the morning shift, so I went in the early evening.

The pig was already cut up when I arrived so no pictures of that.
But fear not, there was still something catching my eye and attention.
Another home made buggy, and quite the special one too.
V(olks)W(agen) atmospheric 1.9 Diesel engine combined with a Subaru AWD, worn winter tires for traction.

What's so special about it You may ask.

Limited independent movement of the rear 1/3 of the vehicle!
We lifted the rear axle this high and the front tires never lost contact to the ground.


The guy claims to be able to make a buggy a week if all junk parts are available - but it supposedly took him 6 months to tinker this gem together to get it working how he imagined it.
The guy is not a mechanic, but rather just a guy with imagination and passion!
I was impressed with his work, to say the least.

Did some chainsaw related shopping, purchased stuff should arrive by week's end.

Afterwards I have successfully bent my newly purchased Dolmar PS-7310 front handle bar back.
It is not as new, but at least the mistreated handle is no longer twisting the lower tank mount and straining the cylinder AV spring.

I am satisfied how it turned out, black cylinder hood is the PS-7310.




She'll fit in perfectly with my PS-6400 & PS-7900.

Watched the boat races at the st.clair river. Was all good till the second lap of third race. Two boats colided and ther was a fatality. My condolences go to the family members.

Pretty good turn out MercMan , the weather was threatning to rain and we did get a little just heading north out of Strathroy but all in all it went well .
This weekend is the children toy ride so that should be fun .

Work bench today , changed the battery in my Iphone 5.....damn those screws are small !!
