This is my rig i love it excel viper f4 17 ft has rear hunt duck its nice when swimming or if you have to pee.all that spce is lost anyway on a jon boat the hunt duck is way to go it makes it ride like a bigger boat with the mitor sitting like that the bracing runs length of boat shes heavy.the motor is a 60 hp 93 model evinrude to stroke she will run bout 40 mph and she sticks too no sliding around.i had the upgraded livewell and spudpole kit done i put hydro turf in too you can stand in it in summer bare footed

Would have liked to take the boat but we were just shore fishing. I had a 14 with a 20 merc and sold it when i got my 17 foot. I kick myself for getting rid of it now.

Tricos & Isonychias were popping off the water but no surface activity. Was a difficult night to read the water/fish. Drummed this 14" brown up with a big ole BH Hares Ear

Does anyone make ther own jig head. Just wondering what you use for paint. I baught a couple colors of jig paint from bass pro. Just wonder if any paint would work like nail polish or would it put out a smell or something?

I dip mine in harbor freight powder coat. Super easy.
