Out of those three 6100. It has more balls than a stock 262 XP and better build quality than a 562/2260(spare me, it's true) If you want a large bar mount buy a bigger saw.

If I could only keep one saw, it would be a 266xp. I love the 262 but I love a 266 a little more.

You're a Canadian cow, eh?

Explains a lot.

:)

Hi Chris!

notice any difference in size weight of the 262 vs the 266?

Yes .... lots

A stock 262 is pretty good, but a ported one is a whole new game.

6400 is a great saw, too, but why would anyone want a 64cc saw that heavy when they could have the exact same saw in a 79cc version with much more power?
Biggest draw is 6401/6421 can be found inexpensive then upgrade later.

May need to get myself a masterminded 357xp one day. Just heard about that model and did a little research and I think I would really enjoy one of them

After running the 562xp, I have to say it's the real deal. I own/run a 460 Rancher for firewood cutting, used to jones for a 365 until that darn 562xp came along, now there's the new 465 Rancher just to keep me off kilter a bit. Other greats that I have experience with are the Husqvarna 266, 262, Jonsered 630, 670 and the Stihl 036, MS 360, MS 361/2 any of which make for excellent firewood saws. Not familiar with other brands, sure they make some good ones too.

Edit: Almost forgot the Husqvarna 61 another great saw. Should have kept that one.

A 268 is the same size as a 272, but a 266 is a different animal. Completely different feel, to me.

I'm just curious, what feels different about it? I have a 272 but have never run the 266.
