"Treat others as you would like to be treated" was and is the golden rule for me. If or when something happens to me, I would like to think there are others who would do the same. I can't imagine what it has been like for Steve's family, and all the money raised certainly helps, but won't ever fill the void he left behind.

Amen brother. We should all live by that rule. I commend you for doing so. I can't imagine what his family is going through.

I agree, he made me ring the bell again.

I haven't done it yet but I intend to. Things have been a little tight here, medical expenses and inflation but that's no excuse not to help others in need. I need to donate from the heart and not because I hope to win a prize. God loves a cheerful and generous giver. Still praying for Steve's family.
