nobody likes a smart azz. HahaSaws were being tested at maximum power, so bar size has nothing to do with fuel consumption.

@HYPERSAWS beefed up the AV and it feels much tougher than it did.
He put a rubber bushing in the spot where the foam piece is on the bottom of the saw. It strengthened it quite a bit, however it did vibrate a little more. The rubber bushing that contact the sides of the gas tank are really flimsy and weak. We thought that the 462 bushings might fit, but haven’t tried.Could you guys care to explain?
That foam piece that’s there normally usually disappears/disintegrates on 441’s, 361’s ect. that have a lot of time on them. Then the av gets even more floppy. Lol
I don't understand why they wood make such a weak designThat foam piece that’s there normally usually disappears/disintegrates on 441’s, 361’s ect. that have a lot of time on them. Then the av gets even more floppy. Lol
Because there trying to copy Husqvarna. Just saying.I don't understand why they wood make such a weak design
A 372 has stronger and more durable av than a 441. 390xp stronger yet. 441 is better after fitted with the west coast springs, less sloppy and still very smooth. Should be standard equipment.Because there trying to copy Husqvarna. Just saying.
What I don't get is why didn't they use the springs in the first place they try so hard to be different but yet they try to use similar design.lolA 372 has stronger and more durable av than a 441. 390xp stronger yet. 441 is much better after fitted with the west coast springs, less sloppy and still very smooth. Or just pump the sloppy springs full of Sikaflex job done! ya now have half decent rubber AV mounts...I’ve heard of guys changing the foam front AV once a month on 661 to keep it from being so sloppy. They did a bad job copying husky for AV on all these saws so far that I’ve picked up.
Stihl should have just stuck with the Av mounts of the 1980s dam Saw's didn't vibrate that bad so I can't believe that the newer Saw's would be any different.I used some of the AV plugs and put it in the longer to give the pin less travel. New springs and foam all around d made it much better. I couldn’t get used to it flopping around to make felling cuts after using Huskies and a 460 for years.
