Where do I start. Three year old JohnDeere. Tried to mow my yard this weekend. No Start. Backfires.
Spark plugs are dry.
Verified spark on both plugs.
Float bowl is full, gas squirts out of the hose when I start it disconnected.
Sprayed the carb in all directions ( Now I need a new bowl gasket ) inserted small cleaner into the bottom of the inlet. Its not blocked period.
I sprayed fuel into directly the intake. Try to start, all I get is a backfire.
I last used it 3 months ago. No problems. Started, stopped it normally. Fuel is new, not the problem. Does not even try to start. And like I said the sparkplugs are bone dry. The fuel never makes it into the combustion chamber.
I cant do anything now until Wed after I go get a new float bowl gasket.
The way you see it in this pic where the blue rags are, I sprayed starting fluid in their. Try to start. BANG. Nothing.
