Selling my 572xp Kevin LaVanway ported for me. Just had it hooked up at a dealer and it's got 46 hours on it. It's a good saw - runs great and is aggressive and tourqy. I hate to sell it but I've got a MMWS 592xp and an XS 500i that suit my saw needs better. I just don’t use this one. The lower front screw on the recoil cover doesn't tighten as snugly as I'd like. I put blue Loctite on it and it's stayed in place so far. You'll definitely want to use the decomp button everytime you pull the rope - I've gone through a few starter pulleys due to the prongs bending or breaking when I've forgotten to use the decomp. Definitely not trying to unload a problematic turd on anybody. If you buy it and feel like I've misrepresented something about the saw please let me know and I'll do my best to make it right. Thanks, Steve.20240625_235616.jpg20240625_235547.jpg20240625_235451.jpg20240625_235439.jpg20240625_235426.jpg

The piston has a single, long scratch on it. I spoke to Kevin about and he didn't see any reason for concern.20240626_000437.jpg20240626_000505.jpg20240626_000430.jpg

Oops. Sorry about that. $1,100 but I'm open to offers. No trades please.

On that one saw?

Yep, just on that saw. The 572xp shares the same starter pulley as the 550xp and 562xp. Not an issue on the smaller saws evidently but on a well ported 572xp with a timing advance that 2 prong design in cheap plastic doesn't always cut it. I've actually liked the aftermarket ones from Sawsalvage better than OEM.
