SELLING XS 394xp

Up for sale is my 394xp I bought off of a fellow OPE member a while back. The saw ain’t a shelf queen, but it sure can pull some chain. I believe Kevin did a rebuild on this when he ported it, and I also believe it has a meteor piston in it. The saw does appear to have an aftermarket clutch cover/brake on it as well. I’m asking $900 plus shipping. PayPal f&f or add 3% for G&S. If you want more pics, shoot me a pm.

Yes indeed. This thing is a stump puller. It is really hard to slow this thing down with 36" 3/8".

I guess that’s one way to look at it. I’ve run a ton of Kevin’s saws. He knows what’s up and I’m sure this one is a ripper. I’ve never seen or run one of your saws so I couldn’t comment one way or the other and generally prefer to not participate in such “competitions”

Don't take what I said as a insult there's a lot of good saw porters out there so running one of his saws against one of mine wasn't ment to be a insult agents him or anyone else there's plenty of ported saws that have been on my bench that were ported by other ports that have impressed me so I'm sure his would to.

I’m not insulted. It’s just weird you’ve been on here since 2018 and never heard of a porter so popular it’s a full time job and he’s booked work out several months in advance. The seller is also a pretty great porter as well. At any rate someone is going to get one heck of a saw.

Hell if I remembered everyone on here plus everything in my life my brain would explode I have a busy life so I don't get a lot of sleep or free time anymore plus racing season is just around the corner so I'll be busy helping my friends with their cars so if I don't recall someone on here it's probably because my life ain't all about saws lol cars have a big part of my life

Here’s my video when I got done with it. I believe @PA Dan ran it at my GTG and had to stop for a second to regain his balance running 42 inch .404 on it.

This isn’t hero wood, by the way. I had the same log at my GTG for about 4 years because it was such a b!tch to cut. It would throw noodles, dust, and chips all in the same cut from the grain being twisted and compressed. It’s a butt log from a 200-year-old sugar maple

Thanks Roger, I’m not certain which cylinder it had. I believe they are all Mahle but I could be mistaken
