I had to plug a hole in the air box. I think it was from the intelli carb.

Did you have to switch the top plates on the carbs? WT 215 is the carb in front. Do I switch the top plates, or whatever they are called? I saw somebody switch them online somewhere…

yeah if you need the compensating thingy and the holes line up you can just swap the covers.

Got it done. Pulled the muffler screen and opened the slits a little. Waiting for JB weld to cure before I give it a go

You need to use the correct impulse passage, both are present on the carb. Just look at the intake. Pull the brass plug out of the correct hole and put a dab of epoxy in the unused one. The throttle linkage needs a little finagling to get full throttle. That should be it.

I just use Yamabond or Dirko for the sealant.
Just a dab is all you need.
