Could be a Shamard (sp) oak hybrid from Europe. I have one in my front yard. Looks like a cross between red and white oak. Could be a Chestnut oak but doubtful there. Chestnut oak is cross breading with white oak in Medford and Marlton area. No one knows why.
Chestnut oak is a variety of white oak. A lot of the different whites will hybridize...they're like pepper plants. I've heard of reds crossing with reds and whites crossing with whites, but not red with white...(and I used to live in both Medford and Marlton)...
