From about 87 down to 92°. It's filled back up to 82How much did it change your intake taking that much off the base?
Ok. Mine are 83 and 84 stock. From about 87 down to 92°. It's filled back up to 82
At 90ish°, it's about .015" per degree. Ish. Or so...Ok. Mine are 83 and 84 stock.
Gasket? Or no?Ok. Mine are 83 and 84 stock.
No gasketGasket? Or no?
I took about .060" off the base, no gasket, .020 squish. If I put the piston up against the squish band, I have a .010" gap at the bottom. So I'm .010" from freeportMine was hollow Kevin. I actually like the hollow muffler better. I gut the OE mufflers anymore anyhow.
Kevin, how much meat does your piston have at the bottom of the skirt at TDC? Without a gasket I've got .020 before Freeport. Handicaps me with machine work.
Looks much better than stock that's for sureWhat are your impressions Kevin after running it? What would you change? Or where do you see taking it from here?
Looks like it pulls well. Holds RPM good in the cut.
Not sure. Thinking I'll raise the transfers up to about 120, and then maybe 118 to see if I can feel the differenceWhat are your impressions Kevin after running it? What would you change? Or where do you see taking it from here?
